Smile Makers

Little nodding hellebores tucked away in the garden,

the front door in the sunshine making

these gorgeous colours on the wall.

Washing drying in the sun and breeze.

And the SmallBeans playing a huge and happy game of Playgo (playmobil and lego mixed up...)

What is making you smile today?

In My Garden At 11.17am

Take a little tour through the flower beds of BeanTowers. A heady mix of sun, green and (some almost over) flowers. A perfect accompaniment for a cuppa.

The mulberries are appreciating some sun at last...

Mr Bumble was the only buggy beast willing to be snapped. And all the birds stayed far away, except for the swifts, neck-achingly high.

I forgot about this little chap...

The everlasting sweet peas which sneak up under the fence from next-door to get to the sunny side of the fence are about to explode into colour and scent.
Finished your cuppa? Thanks for joining me.

Sorry Mrs Pankhurst

Look away now if you are of a slight feminist disposition. This is one of my best things when the sun is shining. There is something very pleasing about hanging out the washing and seeing it dry in the sun and breeze. Sorry Mrs Pankhurst but there is.
